Send love to Nepal

Hello friends of the farm!

May is here and boy is it BEAUTIFUL out! These last couple of weeks have been super busy here as we gear up for the summer season. It is almost as if we are trying to complete one big puzzle on our farm. The objective of this semi-impossible puzzle is to find out some miraculous way to let all our spring crops reach full maturity while still trying to find room for our summer veggies that are ready to be tucked into their new soil homes. Yeah, basically is it like Tetris for farmers!! At least the prize for high score on this "Tetris game" is a delicious bounty of veggies for everyone to enjoy!

We had an amazing harvest this morning for the Old Town Auburn Market tomorrow. We might even go as far to say that we harvested some of the best produce to date! I am talking about broccoli/cauliflower bigger than my head, super crisp romaine lettuce, huge sweet onions and MUCH more.

In addition to top notch produce, tomorrow's market is also special in another way. We will be donating 5% of all our sales from the market directly to the Nepal earthquake relief fund. I can't believe that it was just one week ago when we found about this devastating natural disaster that left the beautiful country of Nepal in ruins. Nepal needs help and with your support we can send some positivity their way.

“A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.” -Amelia Earhart

Hope to see you soon,
