Hello freinds and farm-ily,
Our little farm has some big news that we would like to share with you all…
Hillview Farms now has a “sister farm!” After a two yearlong search for more farmland we finally found the perfect plot of land to call ours. Those of you who are familiar with our current property know that we were “busting at the seams” on grow space. We now have plenty of room to do what we do best, grow more veggies! The new farm property was an established organic farm before, and we are thrilled to continue this farm’s legacy by being good stewards of the land.
We want to send out a BIG thank you to our loyal customers for supporting our farm from the very beginning, and making this expansion possible. Hillview Farms is your local neighborhood farm because every time you choose to shop with us, that money funnels right back into the farm so we can continue to grow nutrient-dense food for the community that we love.
2016 is going to be an awesome year with plenty to look forward to. Here are just a couple of exciting things to come:
Our new farm has established berry plants and there is no way we can pick them all by ourselves, stay tuned for some fun you-pick berry days!!
The farm stand will continue to take place on our Matson Drive property and it will open up the first Wednesday evening in June. (June 1st from 4:00pm-7:00pm)
We currently have our spring nursery plants/veggies at the Sat morning Old Town Auburn/Tues morning Roseville Fountains farmers markets.
