Why hello!
From lighting shooting across the sky to the first triple digit day of the season, I think its safe to say that mother nature has kept us all on our toes this month! Your farmers have been working hard this past week to "beat the heat" while staying as productive as possible. This means we have been putting in a lot of early mornings/late nights to stay on top of things, yet avoid baking ourselves in the brutal mid-day scorching heat. It’s a crazy time of year for us as we try to manage four farmers markets, two farm stand days, harvesting 3 days a week and not to mention all the other tasks that are on the list such as weeding, watering, seeding, transplanting, garden bed prep, laying irrigation, writing emails, fixing things etc. The good news is that our hard work is paying off thanks to all of the support we have received from our AMAZING community! We appreciate you all and the wonderful energy you bring to the farm.
Peace, love and veggies,
Your Farmers
Shanon and Michael
